Kapaa, a coastal town on the east side of Kauai, offers a laid-back alternative to Hawaii’s more developed resort areas. Despite its small size, Kapaa is one of the most populated towns on the island, making it a central hub for exploring the Coconut Coast, a stretch of shoreline dotted with towering palms and scenic overlooks.

St Kilda is a remote volcanic archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, far west of Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. The group consists of Hirta, Dun, Soay, and Boreray, along with numerous sea stacks and smaller formations. Hirta is the largest island and contains the remains of the former settlement around Village Bay. No permanent civilian population lives on St Kilda today, although conservation workers, researchers, and Ministry of Defence personnel occupy Hirta at various times.

Freeport is the commercial center of Grand Bahama Island, set on the island’s southwestern side beside sheltered waters and extensive pine forests. The city was planned around a large private land development and has grown into a regional hub for tourism, shopping, dining, shipping, and recreation.

Kinabalu National Park is a protected mountain area in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, centered on Mount Kinabalu and the surrounding highland forests. The park covers a wide range of elevations, creating distinct habitats from lowland rainforest to montane vegetation and alpine areas.

New Caledonia is an archipelago located in the south western part of the Pacific Ocean, and belongs to what is known as Melanesia. The mainland known as the "Grande Terre" is the principal island of New Caledonia and covers an area of 400 kms north to south and 50 kms west to east, with a total surface of 19 000 square meters. It is the third largest island in the South Pacific after New Guinea and New Zealand.
